Arabian orxy
Why is the Arabian oryx in danger of extinction?
When water is scarce, the Arabian oryx can supply themselves with the water from the dew drops that form on the surface of plants. The Arabian oryx is also known for its identical large horns. Muna said illegal hunting, urbanisation , and the restriction of the desert areas, plants and shade were the reasons that took the animals near extinction.
What are the Predators of the Arabian oryx?
Other than humans, wolves are the Arabian oryx's only predator. In captivity and safe conditions in the wild, oryx have a lifespan of up to 20 years. In periods of drought, though, their life expectancy may be significantly reduced by malnutrition and dehydration. Nov 11 2019
